      The Department of Science and Technology Management is an unit with integration of science and education, which is engaged in research and education of development of science and technology and organization management, including the macro-level science and technology system, science and technology policy, science and technology strategy research, meso- level science and technology achievement, science and technology, science and technology industry value chain research, micro-level science and technology, science and technology team and scientific and technological personnel research.

      The Department of Science and Technology Management, famous for the discipline of "innovation management", which is the second level discipline under the first level discipline of "management science and engineering", enroll doctoral and master's graduate students. Currently there are 2 doctoral courses, eight master's courses and six master's public optional courses.

      The Department of Science and technology management now is run by four teams of research and education, consisting of nine professors, one associate professor and five lecturer, whose domain of research lie mainly in the fields of science and technology policy, science and technology strategy and planning, science and technology management and evaluation and human resource management of science and technology.
